Our dentures are fully made-to-measure, which means they’re comfortable and easy to get used to.

Our dental technicians work with precision to create a set of dentures that are aesthetically in sync with your mouth shape and remaining teeth. If you no longer have your teeth, we may ask you to bring in a photograph so we can use this for reference during the design process.

Our dentures are designed to replicate real teeth as closely as possible. Your new dentures will enable you to chew and talk without any barriers, bringing about a huge dose of confidence daily.

Missing teeth can disrupt your facial aesthetic, causing sagging skin and wrinkles at sites where teeth are missing. Your dentures will fill out the cheek area, significantly improving facial vitality.

Your Patient Journey

If you are new to the practice, a full dental examination will need to be completed, including a set of X-rays.

Your dentist will take moulds of your teeth, which the dental technician will use as a model for your dentures. Your dentures will be an optimal fit for your teeth, your mouth shape, and the soft tissues in your mouth.

A wax version of your denture is created, allowing you to express any changes you want before your permanent set is created. The smile design stage is important to us, as we like everything to be spot-on for you, the patient. Once you and your dentist are 100% happy, the dental technician can begin crafting your permanent set of dentures based on the detailed instructions provided by your dentist.

Once your dentures are ready, you can come in to collect them. We will invite you in for a post-treatment review 1-2 weeks afterwards to ensure you are happy with the functionality of your dentures.

Who is a suitable candidate for dentures?

The great thing about dentures is that they’re suited to patients who may not currently have the healthiest remaining teeth or jaw. We recommend dentures if your current dentures are damaged and no longer fit your mouth or if you have missing teeth.

Can I whiten my dentures?

Dental restorations such as dentures aren’t suitable for teeth whitening as they are resistant to the gels used. However, it’s super easy to keep your denture looking white and youthful. Our hygienists can offer advice on how to reduce the chance of staining and identify food and drinks in your diet that can contribute to staining.

We also offer Airflow® polishing treatment, which can give your dentures a natural-looking shine by following a routine scale and polishing with the hygienist.

Jack is a brilliant dentist. I feel safe in his care regarding my teeth and gums and bones. I felt I really got my monies worth and had a very thorough examination of my teeth and mouth. He's a charming person too! I thought James Metha would be very hard to replace as he was superbrilliant too but Jack is definitely on a par! And both big Laura and Bradley (who I have been to), the hygienists are fabulous and thorough and gentle. So it's a thumbs up from me!

However on my first check up with him I explained about how painful the left side of my jaw had been for quite sometime, to the point I couldn’t concentrate. The contact with Dr Acorn was very pleasant. He has excellent staff with him too.However, I was not so happy being asked to sit on "the landing".It obviously helped with the efficiency of the process, but it is not a comfortable place to wait while contemplating about meeting your dentist.There were no distractions such as there are in the waiting room. I also felt unhappy about sitting beside a low bannister looking down over the stairs. A risk assessment might address my concerns.I would be quite happy to enter the dental surgery unescorted. That's what happens at my doctor's surgery. No problem.I look forward to hearing a response.
