When you visit us for the first time, the dentist will examine your mouth, teeth and gums and usually take some X-rays. We’ll then chat about any treatment that you may need.
If you need treatment, we’ll give you a written estimate of the costs involved, and our reception staff will help you plan further appointments as part of your treatment plan.
In some complicated cases, we may need to take larger X-rays than standard. You’ll be told if this is necessary. Larger scanning X-rays cost £55.
To ensure the safety of any treatment you receive, it’s essential that we have a full record of your medical history alongside a list of any medication you are taking. We don’t usually ask to see notes or X-rays from your previous dentist, but in complex cases, we may ask you to request copies.
Our fee for a new patient consultation is £60 and includes standard-sized X-rays.
It’s a great idea to bring children to the dentist when they’re very young so that they get used to having their mouths looked at when meeting the dentist.
We love seeing children aged about 2½ as part of a family check-up.
We’ll make sure that the experience is fun, letting them have a ride in the chair, counting their teeth and rewarding them with some great stickers. This way, going to the dentist is a normal and enjoyable part of their lives.
We will always treat your information in the strictest confidence.
